As my wonderful readers know – I’ve been shooting as an 2nd photographer to other local photographers for a few years now. I had my own primary wedding to shoot back in 2008, but decided that I was not quite ready to be a full lead photographer till I had a few more weddings under my belt assisting others. Call it training wheels – but for the Bride and Groom, it’s their one day for me to get it right and I wanted to make sure I had it down.
Last weekend, I was able to put those training wheels aside and be the lead for a beautiful wedding in Ft. Collins. Karina and Rich celebrated their vows in front of family and friends under blue but sometimes threatening rain skies. Rich who is in the Army at Ft. Carson had just returned from being overseas. In his dressed uniform, Rich looked striking watching his bride walk with her brother, who is also in the Army.
My photography services were a gift to the Karina and Rich from a family member – and I am so happy that I was able to be part of such a beautiful day!
A few of my favorites:
Thank you Karina and Rich for letting me photograph your wonderful day –
