The last Senior family of 2014 and actually the last session of 2013 went to this amazing family! With an older brother home on leave from the military, I caught up with the Hawkins and captured them for Dylan’s Senior family session.
The family session for Seniors started with this family. THIS FAMILY! I go back with this family, way back. Our boys were in boy scouts together, our girls were in Ventures together. The oldest – Kyle, 2010 Ponderosa Senior was my 3rd Senior EVER that I had photographed, he was just hours from leaving for the military and I wanted to do something really nice for them. I remembered a program that my own high school photographer had offered our family and quickly called them up and suggested we go out for a 30 minute session with the entire family and they could pick an 8×10 to have as a gift. The Senior Family Session was started.
A few years later, when sister Ayla – 2012 Ponderosa Senior graduated, we worked out a scheduled date when Kyle was in town for leave and on a warm summer day captured some more amazing family pictures for Ayla’s Senior Family Session.
Now it’s 2013, December 29 to be exact. Kyle is on leave again visiting the family and it’s younger brother Dylan – 2014 Legend Senior turn. We captured some fun images in the studio and then some cold but cute images outdoors. I love this family!
As an added feature – Mom asked me to design a mom’s brag book. This is a favorite with the mom’s – it’s custom designed with 8 – 10 images from your session (Senior, Family or Wedding), sizes can be 3×3 or 4×3, accordion shaped with a magnet clasp. Makes great gifts for Mom’s, Grandparents, Family and Friends. She asked me to create a brag book with each of the children’s Senior picture and their family picture for that year. This was a fun project for me, so at the end of this post you’ll get to see a shot of the completed book.
Please note, each year I offer every Senior in my program a free family session with an 8×10 option.
Love their family session –
