Working with band students, friends with high school students – I tend to meet a lot of upcoming classmen and there is always a few students that I hope to photograph in their Senior year, and it’s mutually rewarding when I find out that the student I want to photograph will tell their parents that they want me to photograph their Senior images – it’s a win/win situation! So meet Katerina! A Legend Titan Band member of how many years I can’t even remember now, watching her grow up through the band and now a SENIOR, be still my aching heart! Seeing her recently to order her Senior pictures, schools are still being discussed and the countdown till graduation is on her mind – but I know she’ll make the right choice and finish strong!
I loved her session – outdoors on a gorgeous evening and then into the studio to capture a very mature and grown up Katerina and oh yes… fun with her prom dress.
A note about her Prom Dress – this is a composite photo of 15 different images of her dress being thrown into the air and capture differently on each frame and then Photoshopped with textures, warping and blending. This was a first for me and I loved that I was able to capture this with her dress and it’s a favorite of her’s.
