Today’s featured Senior is 2017 Legend High School Senior Emilie. A Legend Titan Marching Band member in the Color Guard! We all know my love for the Guard! WOOOOOO! Emilie is best friends with 2017 Legend Senior Alex that when talking with them they have done a lot of things together. When one did Volleyball, the other did as well. When it came to being in the Color Guard, the other followed… they have been best friends since the 3rd grade! So not a surprise when they both asked for a Denver city senior session. To make sure each girl received a special session when it was their session from Susan B., I took them to a few favorites places that both would love and then made sure that they both went to different locations.
Emilie was my first Denver session in a very long time so finding cool spots that were available to us was fun finding. Emilie wanted to have Union Station in her background and a few other city architectural buildings. A lot of her images has a lot of the city focus and very editorial look (Emilie very serious, vogue looking).
Her family was with us so when we all went to the RiNo District for the graffiti alley’s we all had fun as this was a new experience for all of us. This also happened to be the weekend the artists were repainting the walls in the alley’s so it was with filled with other people looking at the art walls. If you had told us that we would be with lots of people in alley’s looking at art, it does sound a little funny saying that but it was really wicked cool!
So when you look at Emilie’s session and Alex.. one thing I did try to capture for them together – there was a wall with a red apple and a green apple… Emilie was posed in front of the red apple, Alex was posed a few weeks later in front of the green apple. Keeping friends together.
Don’t be too surprised.. Emilie has BEAUTIFUL eyes… and I did a lot of close ups and there is very little editing when catching the sparkle in her eyes! I love her session and you will too!
