October and November are really tricky months for family photography. We only have a few weeks of yellow and orange leaves and you never know if it’s going to snow or not. On the day of Blackburn family session, we were blessed with a warm sunny day and with the outfits they choose, the golden color of the fall season and the family just radiated beauty! Yes… Radiated. Beauty. It was gorgeous! 2020 Ponderosa Senior Emma and her family wore my favorite colors (grey and black) to their session and just coordinated with each other for the family session.
Family sessions will include the entire family, individuals of the siblings, siblings with parents, siblings, and parents. It makes for nice albums, prints and wall groups. When ordering prints, we discuss options and with the Blackburn’s they selected a tight crop family photo to hang on their wall. They shared with me the final look and you’ll notice.. there is a spot for daughter Rachel when she’s a senior that I hope to photograph and complete their family wall.
Here are just a few of my favorites… and I’ll say it again, the 2nd best thing to photographing Seniors, is photographing them with their family.
