Newborn
This past Friday I got to try a new venue in photography – a newborn. And not just any newborn, but a precious newborn. This adorablel little girl was the recent addition to the family of my own Director at work. So as a gift, I offered myself to come out and take pictures, and he took me up on it and it was just amazing.
She was 20 days old, and such a delight to work with. I was lucky to get some of the classic sleeping and wide awake photos. She didn’t know it, but she called the shoots on all of our movements those few hours, but in such a good way, she handled everything that we put her through like a pro.
Being this was my 1st Baby Session – I really had done my research, but you never know what’s going to happen till you get there. She’s not a Bride or a H.S. Senior that you can direct, so being a patience person that I always have felt is a strong suite in me – I followed her lead and I must say… we worked well together and I would love to work with her again!!
And what was awesome was that I brought along a few of my own props, ideas that inspired me from other photographers, but the home was filled with amazing items that worked as great backgrounds. Her bedroom was just to die for – her name above the changing table? Letters bought from the store, but hand-painted by mom and a big bed to accommodate the entire family… it was just perfect!
Thanks Madhu and Jewels for letting me take pictures of Anjali – it was a highlight for me to be able to take her pictures for you and the family!
