All is Quiet on the Western Front

It’s been a quiet new year so far – with kids in school, colds going around and snow on the ground – the excuses for lack of photos can be extensive.

I did how ever – get into a studio and learn some portrait photography in January. The subject was teens, and the group asked that we bring some for photo purposes – so it was only fitting that I bring my own adorable 13 and 12 year along for the ride.

We worked with poses, lighting, stances, settings and teens. My 2 brats angels were the only 2 that showed up – so they were at the mercy of 9 other photographers for 2 1/2 hours. They were truly amazing.

I will admit though – I’m ready for some nice Spring weather. Though the snow is fun, I am ready for some portrait shots with kids running in the park, playing on the grass and smelling the flowers.
